1) I believe Bradbury chose that title because both the salamander and the hearth represent the fire and maybe also has to do something with the protagonist aka Guy Montag 2) Some assumptions that the reader can make from Guy Montag is that he is obviously a firefighter, who doesn't put out fires, instead he creates them. An assumption could be that he love to burn things such as books inside homes. 3) Bradbury characterized the fire hose as a "great python" because once a python has its target, it will use its weapon and attack. Believe in yourself and never give up, sounds like something Ralph Waldo Emerson would say. Emerson was known as an American Transcendentalist poet, philosopher and essayist during the 19th century. His most famous work would be his essay titled" Self- Reliance." Many people have a different way of interpreting things and I have a different was of interpreting his title and essay. The title of his essay may have a different meaning in other peoples perspectives. For example, if you wake up one day and tell yourself, " I don't care about what anyone thinks about me today," and you end up wearing bright pink jeans, a purple shirt, neon shoes and a blue sweater, good for you and good job for not thinking about what people might say about you. Props and all my respect toward y...
I was off topic in class today, I had so much to think about, but the one thing that I kept thinking about was why do all bad things happen to good people. Why do great, caring and trust worthy people have to suffer the most? I was also thinking why do people with such great hearts are the ones who are broken the most and I may have also wondered about why people get cancer and who was the first person to discover cancer.
